Clothing Drive Fundraising

How It Works: Three Easy Steps

Pick the dates for your clothing drive. You can host a drive for two weeks, a week, a day, or whatever fits your needs.

1

Use the promotional templates we provide to get people excited about your drive. Then start collecting as much as possible to raise money for your school.

2

Drop off your donations at the designated location. The Big Blue Truck will calculate how much you collected and let you know how much you earned.

3

Drive with Northwest Center?

We know what it's like to be a nonprofit.

Funding for community events, playground upgrades, recreational activities, or special initiatives is usually not easy to find.

Fundraising is challenging and time consuming.

Imagine if you didn't have to rely on students reaching out to friends and neighbors to sell products, like tubs of cookie dough.

What if fundraising could help the environment, while also supporting services for children and adults with disabilities and your organization?

Fundraise while only having to clean out your closet!

Your staff, families, and the broader community can all get involved.

Raising Funds for Your Organization and Supporting the Planet

Clothing recycle

Americans recycle a meager 13 percent of their clothes and shoes. A whopping 85 percent of all U.S. textiles either wind up in landfills or burned up, the U.S. government reports. -- BBC

One donated shirt can save 700 gallons of water – more than a person drinks in 2.5 years.

Raising funds

“The fashion industry is responsible for 10 [percent] of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined.” -- The World Bank.

Thank you!

Your fundraising supports Northwest Center’s services for children and adults with disabilities. Together, we are helping thousands of families and individuals each year.
